Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby opened their studio in 1996, after their Master's Degree in Architecture at the Royal College of Art in London. Their first studio was located at the Trellick Tower where they designed their first product, the Loop Table for the brand Isokon. They then went on to design objects for brands like: Cappellini, Magis, Authentics and Venin. Over the years they have been awarded many prizes, such as the Best new designer ICFF 1998, the Best Furniture Design of the Design Week Magazine 2004 and 2004 and the prestigious Jerwood Prizefor the Applied Arts in Sept 2004.
