The Vienna chair with armrests, known also as Cesca or Breuer, in a cantilever chair conceived in 1929 and continues to be manufactured today, maintaining its place of better known cantilever chair.
The armachair was designed following the inspiration of Marcel Breuer after seeing the exhibition of the Werkbund "Die Wohnung" in Stuttgart in 1927, in which were visible the Stam Chair, by Mart Stam, and the MR 10, of Mies Van Der Rohe. They first created a chair with an elastic structure that excluded the need o free standing legs, starting from the back, going to support the seat and then dpwn to the ground.

The Vienna chair with armrests has a chromed steel structure, while the panels used for the backrest and seat are made of lacquered beech wood and curved with the interior framed with Vienna straw.

Available also without armrests: with natural beechwood, lacquered white or black outline of either backrest and seat.
